Flavored Waters

Flavored waters made at home are refreshing, tasty, and very simple to make. If you do not like the taste of water, or find it boring to drink, flavored waters can be a great change of pace. They add flavor and small amounts of nutrients to boost your immune system.

Water is extremely important for our health – being fully hydrated allows all of our body’s systems to work properly. If our body is lacking water, our concentration, workouts, immune system, and metabolism suffers – not to mention our mood! However, when we are hydrated, we feel better, workouts are more beneficial, our bodies recover more quickly, and we burn more fat. So grab a large glass of H20 get exercising!

Below are a bunch of flavored water combinations. Just cut fresh fruit/vegetables/herbs, and add them right into a jar or pitcher. Squish the ingredients with a spoon or a muddler to release the juices, and add water and/or ice.

If you do not like fruit/herb pieces, you can use a mesh strainer directly over your cup when pouring yourself a glass.
