I have just added a ton of homemade Larabar recipes to the cooking section. These bars are absolutely amazing. They are great for snacks, meal replacements, and desserts when you have a sweet tooth.
Eventually, I’d like to include some pictures of each bar so that you guys can get a better idea for what they look like. You can find a link to the recipes here:
PROJECTS UPDATE: I also have been working on this HUGE ongoing excel project that has already proven to be very useful. I’ve been compiling a list of foods (all the foods I can think of) with how many calories and grams of macronutrients and micronutrients each food has. It is very time consuming, but I know that it will be worth it.
Basically, this list will be a great food comparison tool so that you know which food choices to make. If you are an avid food tracker, or looking to compete in body-building or figure competitions, this list will allow you to see and record the macros you are eating.
It may be a while until it is complete, but I am very hopeful! At the rate I am going, I plan to finish it up in February – we’ll see.
UPCOMING PROJECTS: In the meantime, I am going to be posting more quick healthy recipes, and include a section on basic cooking skills so that those of you who would like to learn to make home cooked meals will be able to get a good grasp in a short time.
